Rockhill Launches E&S Property Unit

Rockhill Launches E&S Property Unit - Business Wire (press release) insurance

COLUMBUS, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Rockhill Insurance Group, a member of the State Auto Insurance
Group, today announced the official launch of its Excess and Surplus
(E&S) Property Unit. The unit, led by industry veteran Tracy Upton, is a
Catastrophe Wind and All Other Peril (AOP) facility focused primarily on
coastal risks.

“One of the hallmarks of our unit is our limited wholesale distribution
platform,” said Upton. “We’re committed to being a disciplined, yet
formidable competitor, working through a select group of dedicated,
mutually aligned wholesale partners.”

Rockhill is already receiving a large number of submissions from its
wholesale brokers and is open for business, without restriction, in all
states. Targeted classes are those associated with hospitality,
institutional and commercial residential business segments with values
over $10 million.

“Tracy’s expertise in the commercial property E&S market, combined with
his own relationships with Rockhill’s existing wholesale partners, has
already proven to be a major advantage,” said State Auto Senior Vice
President/Director of Commercial and Specialty Lines Jessica Clark.
“We’re excited that Tracy and the team are already quoting and writing
business, and look forward to continued growth.”
